What a busy day today was at work. We had our annual Christmas party, Kid Secret Santa Gift Swap, Kid Card Swap, as well as the "Big Man In Red" ... Santa, came to work today to see the kids...which is about when the kids totally lost their minds haha. They were so excited! I mean, can you blame a kid for being so excited about Christmas. I know how much I am looking forward to opening my gifts the next couple days! I got so many wonderful gifts from the kids today, it was so nice of them! I got tons of Dunkin Donuts cards, and other gift certificates, candles, make up, pocketbook, body gel, spray, lotions, candies, mugs, scratch tickets, and other misc. great gifts! All of them were so thoughtful and creative! :)
Tomorrow is Christmas Eve! Tomorrow I go over to Bob's Meme's house for her annual Christmas Eve party! Which is always fun, I think I like it because you know, you get to see family and friends that you only see once a year. So it's nice to catch up with them every year.
And Christmas, Bob and I open gifts to eachother at home together Christmas morning, then we head over to my moms house for her annual Christmas breakfast with the family, and we open gifts from the family over there...then later on, we go over to Bob's aunts house for her annual Christmas night party...which is our last stop of the night, I love that party...everyone gets dressed up and it's nice seeing everyone! Again, you know how it is...you see a lot of people you only get to see once a year (this time of the year) and it's nice to catch up with them too!
I'm not sure how much I'll be able to update this blog in the next couple of days...so if I don't get a chance to say it later on...
I now have 5 days off from work!!! Which is WONDERFUL! I have been so tired, and so worn out...I can def. use the 5 days to relax after Christmas. It's nice having spare time off...to collect yourself and kinda recharge after this stressful time of the year. Especially in my line of work, By Christmas us teachers need some time off!! Because up to this point it has been nothing but rush rush rush through all these past holiday's and now that Christmas is coming to an end us teachers can finally catch our breath! Because now, there is no other major holidays like Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas...now that December is quickly coming to an end it's smooth sailing from here to June! Then I get my 3 months off for the summer, which is fabulous in itself!
Well, again...Merry Christmas my friends! Have a safe and happy holiday season. Stay Safe, Stay Warm and Enjoy these next couple of days! :)
