Today most school's and businesses were either closed and/or canceled for today due to the pending "big snow storm" that started happening around 1:45pm. My work closed at 1:00pm, but my boss let me leave at 12:30pm because she wanted to get her staff home safely before the storm started. Luckly I was able to get home safe before the snow storm even started.
Currently we have about 5 inches of snow outside. I just checked the weather website and they are saying that the heaviest of the snow will fall between 8pm and 10pm leaving us with 13 inches of snow. Saturday it will flurry on and off...and Sunday we are in for another snow storm bringing us another 2 to 4 inches.
I'm not looking forward to digging out my car tomorrow, and getting all that snow off my car. That's the awful part of snow storms. That, and having to drive around in it. The icy roads are the worst! That's why when I have the money I am investing in an SUV, something that can handle much better in the snow and all four seasons.
Today was the Christmas concert at work. My class did a great job! I was proud of them for getting up on that stage and doing their best! They all were very cute!
5 days late...Woke up feeling sick. Once I drank some tea and relaxed for a bit on the couch I started feeling better. I have a headache and I am achy ... I was a little stressed and nervious about the concert so maybe that played into it. But who knows...I'm still waiting! :)
